Great Auctions! Great People!

Great Auctions! Great People! About 20 years ago, we were bitten by the auction bug. We've never recovered. During this time, we've attended many auctions in many auctions houses in many states. We've learned a lot about merchandise...both old and new...and about the differences in auction houses. We're still learning about the merchandise, but we now firmly believe that Tom Hall Auctions is the "best show in town." There are several reasons for our conclusion. First, the merchandise in the gallery is clean and well displayed, and even more important, the auctioneers are knowledgeable and they always point out any flaws that they see. Second,there's the staff at Hall's. These are first class, polite people who make the patrons feel welcome and comfortable. Speaking of comfort, the seats in the gallery are great.   Third, there's the entertainment factor. The auctioneers are fun and often funny (we think they could do standup.)   However, we have one gripe with Tom Hall Auctions. They're so good that all other auctions are ruined for us. So whenever anyone says "auction," we automatically say, "Tom Hall."

I am writing on behalf of my parents, William and Frances Stumpf.  It came to a point in their life when they had to go to an assisted living facility. I mentioned it to my mother that I thought auctioning was a good way to sell your home.  I had been to an auction of Tom Hall’s and I was impressed. She called Bill Hall and made an appointment for him to see the house.  My parents signed the papers the same day Bill came to look at the house, the sign for the auction appeared in front of the house the next day and advertising was started. To wrap it up, it was a great experience for all of us.  My parents are really happy with the way everything went and they are having fun reading the print outs of how much they received for theitems that they had auctioned off from their home. I would recommend this to anyone that has a house to sell.  Everyone at Tom Hall Auctions was very friendly, helpful and in about a month the house was sold and settlement complete.  Thank you again Tom Hall Auctions for all your help.  Sandra L.             Just wanted to say thank you for everything connected with selling our house. The whole experience was great from start to finish. Having you do the auction eliminated the need for most of the work we would have needed to do to prepare it for selling and made it possible for us to concentrate on the new house.
