Heidi Rodale Estate Art Collection
In 1930, J.I. Rodale, widely recognized as the father of the American organic movement, founded Rodale Inc., publisher of health and wellness magazines and books published worldwide.
The Rodale family’s art collection is a testament to the continuity of their legacy. J.I. and Anna Rodale acquired the collection through several decades starting in 1940, which consisted of work from local, national, and international artists. Their son, Robert Rodale, and his wife Ardath continued this legacy, adding to the anthology of works. In 2018, Heidi Rodale, J.I. Rodale’s granddaughter, took the collection under her care, ensuring that the stability of the art collection continues to be a part of the Rodale legacy.
Many pieces appeared on the covers of Rodale magazine brands such as Organic Gardening and Prevention. Additionally, one could find this art exhibited throughout the Rodale buildings, and as an added benefit, employees could select a piece of art to hang in their offices.
Items are located in Emmaus, PA, 18049 successful buyers will be emailed the property address along with their paid receipt after the auction
Buyer Removal Dates: 9am-4pm Tuesday Oct. 29 and Wednesday Oct. 30, 2024 from 9am-4pm.
All pickups will be by appointment.
Pickup: Please sign up for a pickup slot. The pickup times are to help us keep the traffic flowing efficiently, however, if there are no times left in your preferred time slot that does not mean you cannot pickup at that time.
