Philip Jamison was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, studied at the Philadelphia Museum School of Art. From 1961 to 1963, he was an instructor of watercolor at the Philadelphia College of Art. He was awarded membership in the National Academy of Design and the National Watercolor Society and was a contributor to American Artist magazine. 1925-2021.
Robin Sharer’s intricate pastoral paintings on antique hand saws have been favorites of cattle art collectors for many years. The Maryland artist’s love of the land and animals is portrayed in the depth and details of realistic farm scenery and accuracy of cattle conformation making the upcycled saws true works of art that are appealing and appreciated by breeders.
