Founded by Tom and Anne Hall, the company is now led by second-generation owners Bill Hall (President) and Catherine “Cathy” Keys (Vice President), who together bring a combined 90+ years of hands-on auction, appraisal, and real estate experience. What began as a family operation founded by Tom and Anne Hall has grown, over more than five decades, into one of the Lehigh Valley’s most recognized names in auctions and estate sales. Bill and Cathy grew up in the business — going on appointments, learning the trade from the ground up, and eventually earning their own auctioneer licenses and specialty certifications.

That same family tradition still defines how Tom Hall Auctions operates today: personal service and decades of hands-on experience, combined with modern online auction technology, professional marketing, and an experienced team — not a franchise, not a call center, just the same local family business Lehigh Valley clients have trusted for generations.

Bill Hall grew up in the auction business founded by his parents, Tom and Anne Hall, and has spent his career helping families, collectors, estates, and property owners market and sell everything from fine art, antiques, jewelry, and firearms to complete estates and real estate. Bill has been a licensed Pennsylvania real estate professional since age 21 and has been involved in more than $100 million in real estate sales — a combination of auction and traditional real estate experience that helps clients determine the best method for selling both their real estate and personal property. For Bill, the auction business comes down to trust, experience, and straightforward advice that gets clients the best possible result.

Catherine “Cathy” Keys, Vice President

Cathy Keys brings more than 40 years of experience in the auction and appraisal profession. Like her brother, she grew up in the family business, going on to become a licensed auctioneer and certified appraiser with deep expertise in fine jewelry, antiques, collectibles, household contents, and estate assets. Cathy has worked closely with thousands of families navigating estate settlements, downsizing, and the sale of lifelong collections, and she also provides professional estate appraisals for tax and estate-settlement purposes — working directly with families, executors, attorneys, and accountants. For Cathy, helping families understand what they have, what it’s worth, and the best way to move forward is at the heart of what Tom Hall Auctions does.

Together, Bill and Cathy continue the tradition their parents started more than five decades ago — pairing personal, one-on-one service with the resources and technology of a full-scale professional auction team.
