Jane Zamost is a New Jersey-based painter and mixed-media artist whose expressive work explores the powerful connection between art and healing. A graduate of Rutgers University and the Mason Gross School of the Arts, with additional studies at the Sir John Cass School of Art and the London Polytechnic in England, Zamost has exhibited in more than 70 juried exhibitions throughout the United States and Canada, as well as numerous solo shows.
Her layered compositions, rich textures, and vibrant use of color reflect a deeply personal and intuitive creative process inspired by people, places, and life’s emotional experiences.
In addition to her studio practice, Zamost has been widely recognized for her leadership in the healing arts, serving as Healing Arts Program Coordinator at Capital Health, where she developed art programs and curated exhibitions designed to enrich the hospital environment.
Her artwork can be found in private, corporate, hospital, and museum collections, and continues to inspire viewers through its themes of hope, resilience, and the restorative power of creativity.
