Autumn is upon us, the weather is getting cooler — and our auctions are getting cooler too! Our October 1st Music Auction is shaping up to be an outstanding sale for guitar players, collectors and music lovers.
Leading the auction is an impressive collection of guitars and vintage C.F. Martin instruments, including multiple Ibanez guitars, a Steve Vai Signature Series guitar, a Fender 50th Anniversary Stratocaster, a beautiful Jackson guitar, and a Mike Love of The Beach Boys signed guitar with authentication. Many of the guitars include hardshell cases.
For vintage acoustic instrument collectors, this auction features a wonderful collection of C.F. Martin ukuleles, with examples dating primarily from the 1940s through the 1960s.
One of the highlights is a magnificent 1925 C.F. Martin Style C mandolin. Produced from approximately 1914 through 1934, the Style C is an uncommon Martin model, with approximately 394 examples produced during its production era.
