An extraordinary single-owner collection of Civil War and Western Americana featuring antique rifles, muskets, carbines, cavalry sabers, bayonets, military accoutrements, uniforms, leather goods, saddles, powder horns, cartridge boxes, and historic display pieces collected over many years.
Highlights include Civil War-era long guns, mounted cavalry items, framed military artwork, antique edged weapons, and authentic 19th century field gear. Also featured is a monumental hand-painted buffalo robe signed Hagstrom depicting traditional Plains Indian-style buffalo hunt scenes and colorful medicine wheel motifs.
Additional offerings include several bronze and metal sculptures in the Remington style, carved eagles, and a fine selection of hand-carved walking sticks by Alan Blair.
